Our commitment

We understand that the information contained in financial statements is sensitive — to both the practitioner and their clients — and we take our obligations in this regard seriously.
What we collect
When you submit a set of financial statements for review, we collect the following information:
- Your name, email address, firm name, and contact number (as provided by you)
- The financial statements and any supporting documents you upload
- Details of the engagement — entity name (or anonymised reference), financial year end, and applicable reporting framework
- Your selected review tier and any specific notes you provide
How we use your information
We use the information you provide solely for the purpose of completing your review and delivering your report. Specifically:
- Financial statements are used exclusively to conduct the IFRS compliance review you have commissioned
- Your contact details are used to deliver your report and communicate with you about your submission
- We do not use your documents or data for any other purpose whatsoever
- We do not share your information or documents with any third party, except where required by law
Document retention and deletion
We operate a strict document retention policy:
- Financial statements and supporting documents are retained only for as long as necessary to complete your review and deliver your report
- Documents are permanently deleted within 30 days of your report being delivered
- You may request immediate deletion of your documents at any time by contacting us at reviews@veritasreview.co.za
- We do not retain archived copies of submitted financial statements
